Preparedness, Home Safety, Storm and Survival Class

• Location: Silver Springs State Park, 5656 E. Silver Springs Blvd, Silver Springs, FL 34488
• Cost: Class is free, state park entry fee is required - $2/person.

Take part in our 3 part class series (April 6, 7 and 13) and learn how to make a fire using flint, map reading, what groceries to purchase, radios, and what other resources are needed.

Seating is limited, registration required.


Class will be held in a classroom at the SAUPP center and is ADA accessible. Class is 2 hours in length in air conditioning, attendees must be able to sit for a long period of time. Restrooms are available nearby. It is suggested to bring water and snacks.
