Reel in the Fun this License-Free Fishing Weekend! Save the date for the upcoming license-free fishing weekends, a perfect opportunity to try fishing with your friends and family! This summer's license-free fishing weekends are June 7-8 for saltwater and June 14-15 for freshwater. We encourage residents and visitors alike to explore the many recreational fishing opportunities Florida has to offer, whether you like to fish from the shore or your boat, there are so many options across the state. All other rules, such as seasons, bag and size limits apply. License-free fishing days provide an excellent opportunity for those who don't yet have a fishing license to experience fishing, take youth fishing, or for avid anglers to introduce a friend to fishing without having to purchase a license. On these days, the fishing license requirement is waived for all recreational anglers, including both residents and non-residents.

All other rules such as seasons, bag and size limits apply.
