Kindergarten Registration Begins

If your child will turn five-years-old on or before September 1, 2025, get ready to transition into one of the most important and exciting adventures in your child’s life… Kindergarten! Before the adventures begin, your child must be registered to attend a Marion County School.
Each school has a designated attendance area. If you do not know the school that your family is zoned for, please contact the School Choice and Student Assignment Office.
To begin the process of registration, select the Student Enrollment and School Choice tab on the front page of the Marion County Public Schools website. Once the initial registration has been submitted online, contact your child’s assigned school to verify the completion of the registration process and receive any additional school-specific information.
