Education Day is an immersive Wild West learning adventure designed for folks young and old — children of all ages! Step back in time and discover the fascinating history, challenges, and daily life of the Old West. Because learning brings out the child in all of us!
Schools, homeschoolers, groups, and clubs are all invited to join this unique, hands-on educational experience. Throughout the farm, you’ll find interactive learning stations where skilled presenters share their knowledge through live demonstrations and engaging activities.
Examples of Learning Stations:
Blacksmithing & metalwork
Marshals and outlaws of the Wild West
Authentic Native camps and culture
Horsemanship & frontier living
Frontier medicine & remedies
Guns, ammo, and safety education
Transportation and railroads
And much more!
There’s plenty of bus parking available, and we encourage early registration to secure your group’s spot for this one-of-a-kind day of discovery and fun.
To best serve our students and ensure that they are able to experience every aspect of the day, space is limited. We highly recommend pre-registration for admission. Students can bring lunches or buy food at the event from the food vendors on the property.
