Ocala Recreation and Parks will close all community centers and parks starting at noon Wednesday, Oct. 9 and will remain closed through Friday, Oct 11. All scheduled programs and events Wednesday - Friday have been cancelled.

Mary Sue Rich Community Center at Reed Place | 1821 NW 21st Ave.
E.D. Croskey Recreation Center | 1510 NW Fourth St.
Discovery Center | 701 NE Sanchez Ave.
Eighth Ave Adult Activity Center | 830 NE Eighth Ave.
Fort King National Historic Landmark | 3302 E Fort King St.
Additional facility closures:
• Ocala Golf Club, 3130 E Silver Springs Blvd., will be closed on Wednesday, Oct. 9, and Thursday Oct. 10. Plans are to re-open on Friday, Oct. 11
• Fort King Tennis Center, 3302 E Fort King St., will close at 1 p.m. on Wednesday Oct. 9 and remain closed through Thursday Oct. 10. Plans are to re-open on Friday Oct. 11.
Once the storm passes and it's safe to do so, crews will assess centers and parks for damage and any storm related safety concerns. We will announce expected park and center openings as information is available.
