Science Saturdays is a hands-on science program for kids in grades 3rd-7th. Events take place on Saturday morning, once each month during the school year.
Grades 3 and 4 attend from 9 to 10:30 a.m.
Grades 5 and 6 and 7 attend from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Each session is led by an IHMC researcher or a scientist from the community. Past activities have included such topics as roller coasters, genomics, lemon batteries, secret codes, bridges, computer game design, 3-D printing, and hacking for good guys.
October 12th- Secret Codes
November 16th-Animal Skull Detectives
December 7th-Candy Chromatography
Registration begins two weeks prior to each session. Registration required.
