Love shelter dogs and want to help them? You can meet our dogs away from the kennel environment and also help support historic Silver Springs State Park at the same time! Help us walk shelter dogs, interact with them, and see who might be best suited for you. If you find one that touches your heart, they can go home with you that same day, either through adoption or a foster trial-period.Event is held the fourth Sunday of each month.
Visitors who participate must be able to handle a dog for a walk around the gardens along a paved sidewalk. Only visitors 18 years of age and older may be in control of the dog leash.
