The queue line is part of the experience. Sinister music, hypnotic lighting, and rolling fog turn the wait into a live pre-show that pulls you into the Grimley nightmare before you ever reach the trail entrance.

At 10 PM, the Grimley grounds are swallowed by darkness. The theatrical lights die. You enter with one tiny hand-held light—just enough to see what is directly in front of you, and never enough to see what is coming.
