Get Ready with Girl Scouts

Looking forward to Kindergarten or First Grade this fall? Kick off her summer adventure with Get Ready with Girl Scouts™, a school readiness program designed just for new members – perfect for making friends and beginning her Girl Scout journey! Join by July 31, 2026.

When she joins, she’ll enjoy:

- Three activity books, aligned to school readiness standards and filled with fun summer activities! Available in both English and bilingual (Spanish), the activity books will be shipped directly to her.
- E-newsletters with more activities for the whole family, including tips and resources for caregivers.
- A surprise gift just to welcome her to Girl Scouts!
- Access to everything Girl Scouts offers.
- All while becoming part of an amazing community of friends.

The National Head Start Association and Girl Scouts of the USA are proud to offer complimentary Girl Scout memberships to girls currently enrolled in Head Start who will be entering kindergarten this fall.

By signing up for the Get Ready with Girl Scouts™ program, girls can choose to become a Girl Scout member through September 30, 2026, or select an extended membership that runs through September 30, 2027*.
