Pediatric Emergency Room: As the only hospital in Marion County with a dedicated Children’s ER, or with an ER pediatric hospitalist on site round-the-clock, you can count on us for the highest level of emergency care when your child needs us most. With a deep-sea theme and interactive decor, our pediatric ER was designed to feel like more than a hospital. Every space, furnishing and mural was specially chosen to keep children smiling and busy while they’re waiting — and every AdventHealth pediatric provider was specially trained to help them feel safe and comfortable while in our care.

Inpatient Pediatric Care: When your child needs specialized care, our pediatric inpatient unit provides continuity of care and full access to the AdventHealth network. Our 16-bed unit is staffed with pediatric trained nurses and AdventHealth for Children board-certified pediatric hospitalists. Designed in a farm theme that ties to the spirit of Ocala, your child will have a safe, comfortable place to heal. With kid-friendly amenities like “Mama Llama’s Lunch,” a playroom with video games and a hay bale slide, your little one can feel whole while getting healthy. Our patient rooms also include sleeper sofas for parents and families who want to stay onsite with their child.
