Working with the family is key to the success of each child served. The family system is affected when any change occurs, even with one member, so it is vital to serve the whole system. Looking at the family from a systemic approach helps with taking a more proactive rather than reactive response to the problems being worked on or identified. Whether it is addictions issues, behavioral concerns, divorce, trauma or mental health concerns everyone will serve an important role in moving towards recovery. We leave no member behind on this journey to health and wellness, especially as developmental needs and maturation are still of primary concern for each child. Every child deserves the best this world has to offer, and every family deserves to be a part of the healing journey.
