A round-trip walk along the shoreline of Lake George, one of Florida's largest lakes, this day hike offers views of the lake framed by live oaks overhung with Spanish moss. Starting out near the site of the ancient village of the Timucua, the trail works its way through a variety of habitats, coming to an end on a picturesque low bluff with a three-mile view to the far shore.
Current Conditions: Be cautious of alligators sunning along the bank where the trail is close to the water.
