Appleton Museum of Art

Appleton is home to an extraordinary permanent collection of over 24,000 objects, plus an outdoor sculpture walk and garden, and a wide variety of temporary exhibitions and special events throughout the year. The 81,610 square-foot museum is both classical and contemporary, with clean lines and stately Italian travertine marble. The original building surrounds an idyllic interior courtyard and fountain.

Artspace:
The Artspace engages adults and children in hands-on art experiences through colorful activity stations and projects that promote the understanding of art. Make a mosaic with magnets, build with Lego® or draw on our glass wall — there’s something for every age and ability!

The Artspace, supplies and activities are free for Appleton members and included with museum admission fee for nonmembers.

Field Trips:
Bring your class or youth group to the Appleton and tour our renowned permanent collection or one of our exciting temporary exhibitions. We also offer special themed tours and ARTSpace activities, upon request.
