Discovery Center, The

The Discovery Center of Ocala strives to provide community members of all ages an interactive educational experience which stimulates a desire to expand personal knowledge.

The Discovery Center has been providing hands-on, interactive education opportunities for our community since 1997. It’s relocation to the old Armory in Tuscawilla Park has proven to be advantageous. The center is busting at the seams with programs offered from four, different exhibitions per year to numerous afterschool, field trip and camp programs.



**The Discovery Center is excited to announce a partnership with Museums for All. Museums for All is a program that allows those receiving Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) to gain free or reduced admission to more than 1,000 museums throughout the United States. The Discovery Center will provide free admission to the exhibits; however, it will not include add-on programming such as Star Lab. Valid cardholders may bring three additional guests for free per visit.**
