Helping Kids Heal with Hope. At The Dandelion Project, we believe every child deserves a safe place to feel, learn, grow, and heal. We provide compassionate support, education, and resources for children and families navigating grief, loss, trauma, and life’s difficult changes.
The Dandelion Friends (ages 2-8): Through our **Dandelion Friends children’s book series**, lovable characters help young children explore big feelings, grief, friendship, belonging, hope, and healing in gentle, age-appropriate ways. We also offer Dandelion Friends educational and classroom resources designed for preschool and early elementary children, bringing learning, emotional wellness, and social-emotional development together.
Hugs From Heaven Bereavement Program: The Hugs From Heaven program consists of two separate components - Bereavement/Memory Boxes and three scholarships.
The Dandelion Project also provides grief and bereavement resources, community education, remembrance programs, and connections to additional support when needed.
Whether your child needs a comforting story, help understanding big emotions, or a little extra H.O.P.E., we’re here to help families know they don’t have to navigate the hard days alone.
