Providing physical and emotional support in a safe and loving home for children awaiting placement.
Some community supporters love on children in our open homes as certified caregiving volunteers, while others help to organize donations, and take care of the yard. Some community supporters serve on committees to help organize and execute events or plan monthly treats and love for their local child welfare service office and caseworkers. There are all kinds of ways to get involved in your local Isaiah 117 House and we need you!

This is one of the main reasons we only provide new items. Many of these children arrive at the red door of the Isaiah 117 House with nothing. We want to meet their immediate needs “lavishly”. So, we don’t just offer a bath, we offer an Elmo bubble bath with bath toys and a big warm fluffy white towel to dry off with. We don’t just offer a pair of pajamas, we make sure every child receives at least 2 brand new pairs of pajamas. We don’t just offer a teenage boy a pair of shoes, we offer him a new pair of Nikes he’s always wanted. Just as God lavishly loves on us, we believe we are called to lavishly love on others!
