The Mission of Mater Virtual Academy is to develop productive, self-disciplined 21st century learners by providing a high-quality academic program in a virtual environment utilizing a proven curriculum, expert support, and instructional systems designed to encourage academic excellence.

Teacher Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or higher in the required field; valid Florida Professional teaching certificate; satisfactory evaluations from previous employer; excellent communication skills, verbal and written; competency and/or experience in 21st Century technology; basic knowledge of word-processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software; competency in navigating Internet browsers; minimum 3 references/letters of recommendation.
