Horizon Academy of Marion Oaks - STEAM

Horizon Academy at Marion Oaks is a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) magnet school, located in the heart of the Marion Oaks. Unlike most middle schools, we also have 5th grade classes.

STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, mathematics) is about collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and creativity. We hope to instill this in all our students and see their experiences grow across all subject areas. Ultimately, STEAM focused teaching and learning skills will help deepen understanding of STEAM content applied in a real-world context. We are fortunate to have Discovery Education as a partner and STEAM lead teachers to help us move full STEAM ahead.
