Entrepreneurship Academy
The program will introduce students to the concept of entrepreneurship, present entrepreneurship as a viable career option, provide students with the skills needed to realistically evaluate their potential as business owners, and to develop the fundamental knowledge and skills necessary to start and operate a business.
The Wildcat Entrepreneurship Academy is an interactive program in which students will be developing valuable skills that will lead to success! It is my expectation that students will arrive to class prepared to: participate in hands-on activities, step outside of their comfort zone, develop individual business plans, be active participates in group project and come prepared.
The Wildcat Entrepreneurship Academy has a relationship with the Ocala/Marion County Chamber & Economic Partnership (CEP), the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) and Junior
Achievement of Central Florida (JA). When interacting with these organizations, students are expected to represent Forest High School in a professional manner.
