MCPS Summer Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK)
To be eligible for VPK in the Summer of 2025, children must be 5-years-old on or before September 1, 2025 and attending kindergarten for the 2025-2026 school year.
Applications for Summer will open on February 24, 2025 and will remain open until seats are filled.
The following schools will offer Summer VPK:Emerald Shores, Fordham Early Learning, Shady Hill.

Hours: 7:30 AM- 5:30 PM
Grades: Preschool
Age: 5 years old on or before Sept 1 of the program year are eligible to attend Kindergarten for 2025-2026
