Scott Carrigan Baseball

T-ball ages are 4-6: Our tee ball division is made up of mostly 4 and 5 year old's that are new to the game. Players will begin hitting off a tee and will progress towards hitting off coaches pitches throughout the season. Teams typically practice once a week for an hour and games are played on Saturday mornings with a few week night games mixed in throughout the season.

Junior Division ages 5-6: The Juniors Division will serve as a transition between 6U (teeball) and our 8U (Rookie) divisions. Players will hit off the pitching machine at a slower speed (33mph vs. 44mph in Rookies) from a shorter distance (36 feet vs. 46 feet in Rookies), and will play defense much like the older divisions do with some small differences to speed up play (one base on over throw, 7 runs per inning, "timeout from infield" rule, etc.). This division will be made up of mostly 6 year olds and any experienced/advanced 5 year olds. There will be an evaluation to ensure that players are ready and prepared to participate safely and to facilitate a draft process.
