Community Stages Theatre Arts Classes

Community Stages, is a pending non-profit theatre arts organization in North Central Florida.Founded by Terry LeCompte, former Director of Education at Ocala Civic Theatre (2018 - 2023).

Though Community Stages is a new organization - Terry LeCompte has trained for and maintained a 20+ year professional career as a performing artist, educator, and director.

With a clear and direct vision, CS offers expert performing arts training, performance opportunities, theatre/literacy programs, and a wide range of professional development workshops for workplaces.

The CS Team lead multigenerational programs that build confidence, compassion, and community through the theatre arts. Through the exploration of stories, we develop our learners’ self-worth and empathy while nurturing their confidence and sense of responsibility. The communication and collaboration skills built through creative play also contribute to the personal success of our learners and their positive impact in their communities, both great and small.
