 e June 7-8 for saltwater and June 14-15 for freshwater. We encourage reside
 nts and visitors alike to explore the many recreational fishing opportuniti
 es Florida has to offer, whether you like to fish from the shore or your bo
 at, there are so many options across the state. All other rules, such as se
 asons, bag and size limits apply. License-free fishing days provide an exce
 llent opportunity for those who don't yet have a fishing license to experie
 nce fishing, take youth fishing, or for avid anglers to introduce a friend 
 to fishing without having to purchase a license.  On these days, the fishin
 g license requirement is waived for all recreational anglers, including bot
 h residents and non-residents.<br /><br />All other rules such as seasons,
