  on-site childcare during select matinee performances in Season 75! Purchas
 e a ticket for the first Saturday matinee (2 p.m.) of any of the following 
 shows and register for free childcare during the performance through our ne
 w Play Date program:<br /><br />Steel Magnolias: March 14<br />Children of 
 Eden: May 2<br /><br />Play Date is held in Studio A and begins half an hou
 r before showtime, running from 1:30 p.m. until the end of the performance,
  or 4:45 p.m. at the latest. Children ages 5-12 will engage in a fun, on-si
 te theatre workshop focused on collaborative play, featuring exercises in a
 cting, music, creative movement, and art, while parents enjoy the performan
 ce! A team of trained teaching artists from The Academy at Ocala Civic Thea
 tre will provide age-appropriate activities inspired by the play, allowing 
 kids to explore their creativity and introduce them to the world of theatre
 .
