 m 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., all MCFR fire stations throughout Marion County will b
 e open to the public. Residents are encouraged to bring non-perishable food
  items to help support local food pantries and families in need this holida
 y season.\n\nIn addition to donating, guests will have the opportunity to:\
 n• Meet the Firefighters, Paramedics, and EMTs who serve their community\n•
  Tour the fire station and learn more about daily fire-rescue operations\n•
  Explore fire engines and rescue units up close and learn about the life-sa
 ving tools carried on each vehicle\n\n“Marion County always steps up when n
 eighbors need help, and this food drive is a powerful way to support our mo
 st vulnerable residents,” said Fire Chief James Banta. “We’re excited to we
 lcome families into our stations, show them the equipment we use, and conne
 ct them directly with the men and women who respond when they call 9-1-1.”\
 n\nAll non-perishable food items collected during the Open House events wil
 l support Marion County’s Bring the Harvest Home Food Drive, helping ensure
