 arried away AGAIN!  This fun fundraiser will help provide scholarships to l

 H! the first 150 runners to cross the finish line will receive a Dia de los
  Muertos GATOR SKULL medal, pictured below. No alligators were harmed in th
 e drafting of this design.<br /><br />We will hold pre race packet pick up 
 on Friday Oct 24, 2025 from 3 to 6 pm at BASELINE TRAILHEAD. Race day pick 
 up will begin at 7am.<br /><br />Dia de los Muertos is a traditional holida
 y that takes place in Mexico at the end of October.  Its been embraced by t
 he world because of its uplifting message.  Some experts believe that the r
 oots of the holiday are from Medieval Europe derived from the feast days, A
 ll Saints Day and All Souls Day.  Wherever the origins, Dia de los Muertos 
 is a celebration of the lives of loved ones that have passed on.  The color
 ful costumes, music and food are a remembrance of the joy we shared with th
 ose family and friends.  In this spirit, we invite you to join us at this f
 estive event!
