 eriff’s office proudly offers our young drivers the Teen Drivers Challenge 
 course. With driving being the leading cause of death among teenage drivers
 , we are committed to doing everything possible to reduce their chances of 
 being involved in a traffic accident. This is a defensive driving class for
  young drivers between the ages of 15-19 with a leaner’s permit or driver’s
  license with at least SIX MONTHS of driving experience. \n\nThis program i
 s a no-cost, hands-on defensive driving class designed to educate young dri
 vers on vehicle awareness and will cover various topics such as:·    \n\nTe
 en crash facts - Knowing your vehicle - Using your senses - Vehicle dynamic
 s - Drug and alcohol use - Aggressive driving and road rage - Figure 8 - Th
 reshold/Emergency Braking - Backing - Cornering - Forward and reverse serpe
 ntine - Evasive maneuvers.\nIt is a one-day event consisting of classroom l
 ectures and vehicle operations. They will learn invaluable information that
  will not only make them a safer driver but could also save their life. \nT
 hese classes are on a first-come, first serve basis. With such high demand,
