Unlimited Visits with the Free Florida Teacher Card

SeaWorld® Orlando is proud to offer a complimentary SeaWorld Florida Teacher Card to all active and certified K-12 Florida grade school teachers who hold a valid Department of Education (DOE) number. The card is valid for unlimited admission to SeaWorld® Orlando through September 5, 2024.

To take advantage of this offer, click the Teacher ID button in the top-right corner, select "Sign up" and then enter an e-mail address (a personal address is recommended and not your work email) and a password.

If you also hold a current certification by the state of Florida, hold an active Department of Education number as a K-12 teacher and are employed by a public primary or secondary school in an eligible role, you can register with GovX for this offer, otherwise, you do not meet the requirements for the program. Verification can only be complete if K-12 Florida grade school teachers are currently on the Department of Education database.

If you are unable to register with GovX through the online system, please bring a letter from your principal on official letterhead stating that you are a teacher along with a Florida Picture ID and most recent paystub (within 30 days) to the front gate. The staff at the front gate will verify your eligibility and provide you with your Florida Teacher Card.

After you are verified, you will need to access SeaWorld's website and complete the ticketing process. After this process is complete, your tickets will be emailed to you.

Once you have completed the ticketing process, there is no way to change the names on the ticket.

Completed ticket orders can be viewed within the SeaWorld account you created during the checkout process (if you created one); that is separate from your GovX account, however you may have used the same email address and password. If you did not create a SeaWorld account, then you will need to contact SeaWorld customer service and provide the email address entered to receive the tickets and they will be re-sent.

Either you have already claimed tickets for the year or it's a browser/mobile device issue. Please refer to the last question for browser information.

The final redemption date for the 2023-2024 Florida Teacher Card is September 5, 2024, there are no extensions.

To redeem the SeaWorld Florida Teacher Card, the teacher must be present or redeem the SeaWorld Florida Teacher Card himself or herself in order to protect their identity and their SeaWorld Florida Teacher Card.

Teacher ID best supports Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Safari. For optimal user experience, it is recommended to use a home computer. Work computers (with outdated browsers or internet explorer) or mobile devices provide an unsatisfactory experience.
