About Volunteering

Thank you for your interest in volunteering to conserve Florida's fish and wildlife. With increasing pressures on Florida's fish, wildlife, and habitats, we cannot accomplish our mission without your assistance. You can make a positive impact by assisting with activities such as habitat restoration, laboratory work, education and outreach, and many others. The FWC benefits from the skills and dedication of our volunteers, and in turn, we strive to offer a fulfilling, meaningful, and satisfying volunteer experience.

FWC volunteers made six new wood duck nest boxes for the Carter Tract of Econfina Creek Wildlife Management Area in Washington County.
FWC volunteers assist staff at Lionfish Derbies and events around the state.
