Baseline Road Trailhead

The Baseline Trail and trailhead area of the Cross Florida Greenway (CFG) was once slated to be part of the corridor for the sea-level Cross Florida Ship Canal project in the 1930s and the latter Cross Florida Barge Canal (CFBC) in the 1960s and 70s. Remnant digging from the 1930s sea-level project still remain in the northeastern portion of the paved trail area where the Frisbee disc golf course is located.
