Black History Museum of Marion County at Howard Academy Community Center

Founded in 2004, the museum includes exhibits highlighting Florida history, Fort Mose, Black Seminoles, Federal Troops, Paradise Park, and other historical moments and figures.

To meet the needs of the Ocala Westside Community and Marion County, through specialized learning centered activities and community programs designed to positively enrich student lives and impact community development.
