Working as an childrens portrait photographer is a complete joy. The real-life children portraits I am able to capture as a are so fun, because kids are real and uninhibited in front of the camera and it is easier to get those candid shots. They are often playful and creative, especially when we focus the on the things they love. Some of my favorite photos are those where the children are hamming-it-up for the camera - kids can be goofy and still look down-right adorable. Capturing their personality and favorite things I think helps to better preserve the memories of when they are small.
