Ocala Lions Club Kidsight Program

KidSight - An important FREE Program to screen pre-school children between ages 1 to 5 years old for Amblyopia, also known as "Lazy Eye". If caught early, it can frequently be corrected. If it goes undetected, it can lead to permanent vision loss. The Ocala Lions Club has purchased state of the art vision screening equipment that lets us screen pre-school kids for FREE from 3 feet away with a digital camera and a special computer analyzes both eyes in a second for Lazy Eye and related conditions. The data is then sent to the Pediatric Ophthalmology Department at the University of Florida for review by an Ophthalmologist - All for FREE.
