activities over the summer there is a significant learning loss. Even just reviewing previously learned concepts help to prevent that
loss. This prevention builds confidence and provides an ease back

As a child, I attended both public and private schools. In the fourth-grade I was identified as dyslexic and I was reading at a first-grade reading level. My experience in a private school in fifth grade with an amazing teacher and only five other classmates helped me overcome my learning disability and by the years end I was reading on an eighth-grade level. This is just one of many experiences in my life that inspired me to teach!
My husband and I have been married for three years. My husband works
as the computer lab manager at Emerald Shores Elementary. I am currently a household engineer for two beautiful boys ages 2- years- old and 9 months old. I firmly believe in structure and consistency as well as nurturing my boys’ interests. Our play room is Waldorf inspired. Creative play and the use of imagination are highly respected in my home.
