STEM/Coding Camps are offered for students entering 5th - 9th Grade. Each week-long camp focuses on a specific activity designed to challenge campers and put their problem-solving and creativity to the test. Weekly themes are STEM-based and move at a rapid pace.
STEM/Coding Camps are offered for students entering 5th - 9th Grade. Each week-long camp focuses on a specific activity designed to challenge campers and put their problem-solving and creativity to the test. Weekly themes are STEM-based and move at a rapid pace. Camp days are from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Scratch Camp (6/3 - 6/7): Designed for beginner to intermediate Scratch users, campers will design games and build an app.
Robotics and Drones (6/10 - 6/14): Learn to code VEX IQ, Root Robots, and programmable drones to complete choreographed maneuvers.
Barbenheimer (6/17 - 6/21): Different design challenges offer an opportunity to design, build and play with their creations and find solutions to engineering problems with the fun of Barbie, the physics with Rube Goldberg Machines, and more!
The Art of Microbiology (6/24 - 6/28): Design challenges offer campers an opportunity to design, build and play while exploring aseptic technique, streak plating, and gram staining as we create mini masterpieces using bacteria.
Programming Essentials (7/8 - 7/18): This camp is perfect for students who have been writing code for at least 9 months. Prior Python experience is not necessary but is recommended. This camp will explore AI and Machine Learning through coding with Python. This is an eight day camp, running Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm.
